I don’t just look at P/E ratios and dividend yields. I apply a “boots on the ground” approach to investing:

Real World Checks: I visit the convenience stores, walk through the real estate properties, and use the products to see if a brand is actually popular in Japan.
Cultural Context: I analyze why a company is growing based on Japanese demographic trends and consumer behavior.
Shareholder Focus: I specifically look for companies that are changing their mindset toward shareholder returns (dividends and buybacks).
